Last night we watched Taken with Liam Neeson.  Rarely am I inclined to watch a movie just because of a line in a trailer, but for some reason when I heard him say, "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."  I knew I had to watch this movie. 

It centers around Bryan Mills, (Neeson) who was a "preventer" in the CIA.  His 17 year old daughter travels with another teenage girl to Paris for the summer.  Within hours of arriving, both her and her friend are abuducted by some criminals who traffic women.  He is on the phone with her when she is abducted, then he grabs a flight to France, where he starts tearing apart the criminal underworld looking for his little girl.  The action sequences were very well done, and the story was, in my opinion, excellent.  There were a couple of sequences where the movie started to drag a bit, but all in all I thought it was an enjoyable movie. 

One of the quotes on the store ads is to "move over Bourne", aimed at Matt Damon's Jason Bourne movies.  While this was good, and well acted, it was not as good as any of the Bourne movies.  With that in mind, I'll give it 4 smileys.
